A seed strain producing creamy white flowers along the lines of ‘Alabaster’ and ‘Cheddar’. The bloom period for New Moon definitely precedes that of the other two “whites”. Although we do see some minor seedling variation amongst our stock plants, they all are taller (20-24”) than either ‘Alabaster’ or ‘Cheddar’, the buds begin to open at only 6 or 8” above the foliage mass, and the leaves are not as dark a green. The plants we sell are divisions from the three original ones I purchased a number of years ago at a local nursery.
