The Sanguinaria rhizomes are washed free of soil and sent out packaged in fold-top poly bags containing slightly moistened peat moss.

The spring season is short and totally weather dependent. Typically it lasts for 3-4 weeks in April, although in some years when we experience abnormal early warm-ups it may be shorter.

The late summer/fall shipments start in mid-August and will last at least until mid-October. We have even sent them out as late as Thanksgiving to warmer parts of the country.
