Colchicum byzantinum

Colchicum byzantinum Certainly one of the most floriferous Colchicums and easily noticed as being distinct in its floral color and shape. It and Autumn Herald are the ones we grow that are closest to true pink, though C. byzantinum's hue is less intense and might even be called pale pink. The blooms first open cup shaped, but soon the petals spread apart and the flower flattens a bit.
